Our Family

Jeff and I will celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary on August 23rd. We met in high school. I was a freshman and he was a sophomore. We had french class together. We dated all through high school and then married in 1997. In 1998 we both started working full time at The Ohio State University and have been there ever since. Jeff works as the Systems Administrator for the Knowlton School of Architecture and I work as the Undergraduate Program Coordinator for the Knowlton School of Architecture. In 2002 we built our dream home in Marysville, Ohio.

Ty James Shaw was born on December 7, 2003. It was a difficult pregnancy and delivery (Ty weighed 9lbs 11ozs) but he was a great baby. I guess I paid my dues during the pregnancy because Ty was sleeping through the night before he was a month old. Ty is now 6 years old and will be in the first grade next month. My entire world revolves around this little boy.

Ty is looking forward to being a big brother. The only issue Ty has with a little sister is that he does not want to share his toys. Should be interesting.

Ty enjoys playing baseball, basketball and soccer. He also enjoys swimming and playing with his friends.

As a family we enjoy spending time with family and friends. We also enjoy traveling, swimming and camping. We have two dogs and two horses. The dogs are Daisy (Boston Terrier) and Winston (Beagle). The horses are Piper (thouroughbred) and Daffy (miniature pony).
